Sustainability through the lens - Photography Contest

This page is to show the results of our Creative Photography Contest - Sustainability through the lens.


The contest's topic was “Capture in a photograph what sustainability represents to you

Students could participate in two different categories:

  • "Green Living": Submit photos that showcase sustainable practices in their daily lives, such as using reusable bags, recycling, or conserving water. Or submit photos that show how people are coming together to create a more sustainable future, such as through clean-up campaigns, community gardens, or renewable energy projects.
  • "Nature's Beauty": Submit photos that highlight the natural environment, and how individuals and communities are working to protect it. Or submit photos that highlight the impacts of climate change and the actions being taken to mitigate it.

Each student could only submit one photo, but it had to be an original photo, students couldn't use any copyrighted material, or graphic materials made by others (symbols, lines, banners, etc.). Students must submit only photos taken by themselves, they also could edit the photos and merge more than one photo, without adding external graphics. (only photos they have taken themselves).

Type and size of the file: JPG and a maximum of 3Mb.

Students submited the photos using a Google Form.
